We are proud to announce that Apu Winery was featured in the latest issue of Cosas Peru. In "Despite the pandemic: the good progress of Peruvian wine" Paola Miglio explores the progress of Peruvian wine in recent years. She comments: "in recent years some joys have appeared. Never before has so much attention been paid to it on tables in haute cuisine restaurants, joining the pairing of tasting menus. While some large wineries have decided to boost their production of Noble grape wines (Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling) and some small ones have joined them from above (Apu Winery at 2850 and 3300 meters above sea level) with valuable results, others have decided to return to the origins, recover traditions, improve their final specimens or venture into the production of natural wines".
Using the Apu Winery wines as an example, she says, "The rosé was opened on New Years. Delicious. The Sauvignon Blanc is still waiting for a special moment. I don't want to run out of bottles at home." We hope there will be more wine for more people to enjoy our terroir soon in the future.
